Turning Off Headlights

These 5 steps work for most cars:

1. After parking, turn your vehicle completely OFF
2. Turn your headlights knob to the OFF position
3. Apply the parking/emergency brake
4. After completing step 1-3, start your vehicle
5. The headlights, including the running lights, will stay OFF as long as the parking/emergency break is applied an you keep the headlights knob at the OFF position.

NOTE: Do not try and drive with the parking brake on.  Before driving away, turn ON your headlights and release the parking brake.
